Adult Ballet and Tap Techniques - Adults Who says you are too old to dance? Not me! This is the perfect class for an adult who has never taken dance. They will learn the strict ballet technique and the fun groove of tap. This course will be a fun combo class to learn both styles. In ballet, we will focus on basic technique like positions of the arms and feet. In tap we will work on individual movements that will be put together to make a dance. Adult Yoga and Pilates – Adults In adult yoga, we will be taking a step back from everyday life and focusing on mindfulness and listening to what our body is telling us. We will learn to relax and discuss how this can help in our daily life. In Pilates, we will strengthen muscles that are often underutilized. This workout introduces minimal but challenging movements that produce maximum results. Instructor: Kylee Green (Black Mountain Dance Teacher)

Adult Yoga and Pilates – Grades 7-12 Students will learn how to calm themselves with yoga and strengthen with Pilates. Skills learned in Yoga can be taken in everyday life. Students will gain techniques to calm down in a stressful situation or relax before a big test. Pilates helps strengthen the small muscles in the body that are not used as often as larger muscles but are essential because they increase stability and support the body's core.
