Beat the Summer Slide: Adventures in Learning Grades: 2-4 | Duration: 4 Weeks | Format: Online (Live Sessions + Adventure Challenges) This isn’t your average summer school—it’s a learning adventure! Beat the Summer Slide: Adventures in Learning is a fun-filled online course designed to keep young minds active, curious, and engaged all summer long. Through exciting daily themes, students will explore reading, writing, math, art, and science in creative, hands-on ways that feel more like play than school. Each week brings a new learning quest. What makes it extra awesome? The adventure continues even after class! Between live sessions, students will take on fun “Adventure Challenges” that get them moving, thinking, and creating. Activities may include backyard scavenger hunts, DIY craft projects, storytelling, games, and friendly mini-competitions—all designed to reinforce learning and keep boredom far, far away. Course Features: Live, high-energy, interactive Zoom sessions every Tuesday and Thursday Super fun “Adventure Challenges” to complete at home Weekly online hangouts with games, activities, and student showcases This will course make beating the “summer slide” a total blast. Enroll in POSITIVE to give your students the head start they need to succeed in the new year. This engaging and interactive course will help students develop and practice strong executive functioning skills. Students will learn how their brain functions best and why these skills are important to thrive in school and life. What are executive function skills?
