At CCUSD Preschool, we provide a positive, nurturing, environment that meets the needs of young children and their families.
Enrichment classes, camps and workshops are available throughout the school year before and after school.
"Kid's Club is a creative, active and safe place for children before and after school"
Students will begin their time by eating lunch or snacks (brought from home) while getting to know each other. Some students will stay from a morning enrichment program, and others will join the group from the Kid’s Club Camp. Students will be introduced to projects using mixed-medium art materials and other manipulatives to encourage self-expression, problem-solving, teamwork, and fun with peers. Each project will engage and develop various executive function skills such as task initiation, organization, memory, planning, time management, flexibility, and more. Mindfulness strategies will also be implemented through art to encourage students to observe their thoughts, express creativity, and cultivate a sense of calm and self-compassion.
