1) Your CSHS Counselor needs to complete the Course Approval Form before registering for an online class. Please meet with your counselor before final grades are posted to allow ample time to receive approval and register before the Edgenuity session begins. Course registrations must be completed four working days before the first day of the session to guarantee the course will be open on the first day of the enrolled session. Receiving approval for a course does not require a student to enroll in that course.
2) To register for any ECS program, you must set up an Eleyo family profile at cavecreek.ce.eleyo.com. If your family does not have a profile in our online registration system, please set one up for yourself as the parent or guardian and add the child(ren) you intend to enroll. (For detailed registration instructions, visit ecsforall.org/register.) Please use Firefox or Chrome as your browser for the best performance.
3) To register and pay for an Edgenuity course, visit cavecreek.ce.eleyo.com and search "Edgenuity." Select "Edgenuity Online Course Credit." Have your Course Approval Form available to complete the registration.
4) Once steps 1-3 are complete, mail or drop off your completed Course Approval Form to the ECS Office. Mailing Address: ECS Enrichment, P.O. Box 426, Cave Creek, AZ 85327. Drop off Physical Address 33016 North 60th Street, Room A12, Scottsdale, AZ 85262.
5) To start the course on the first day of the session, steps 1-3 must be completed by May 28, 2025, for the June session and June 25, 2025, for the July session.
The ECS Office is open M-F, 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Beginning the last week of May, it will be open M-TH, 7:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. The ECS office is located on the District Office campus. Follow the sign at the parking lot to our front door. If you have questions, please call 480-575-2440.
Course Protocols
Coursework and quizzes can be completed at home, but ALL Prescriptive Tests, Unit Tests, and Final Exams must be supervised in the Edgenuity Computer Lab at the CCUSD District Office, by checking in through the front office. Students are welcome to use this computer lab to work on coursework and quizzes during the open lab hours. If your child cannot take these tests/exams in person, please discuss alternative online programs with your student's counselor.
Students may complete more than one course during a summer session. However, they can only be active in one class at a time to ensure they finish the first course before opening a second course. Students earn a half credit for each course completed. This is equivalent to one semester during the school year. ALL coursework, quizzes, unit tests, and the final exam must be completed by 2:00 p.m. on the last day of each session (June 26 for the June Session and July 28 for the July Session) to receive credit for the course. Incomplete courses, for any reason, will be recorded as an "F" on the student's transcript. Students may finish early.
The last day a student can open a course is June 12 for the June Session and July 10 for the July Session. Regardless of the start date, the deadline is the last date of the session in which the student is enrolled. If a student opens a course in the June session and needs more time to complete the course, a new registration must be completed in the July session to continue working on the June course. The July session end date is the final deadline for continued courses. If a student does not finish a course by the deadline of the session in which it is opened, regardless of their start date, an "F" will be recorded on the student's transcript.
Refunds are only permitted before opening assignments, labs, quizzes, or any test, including the prescriptive test.
Permission for one bypassed test at a time is allowed. All bypass requests must be emailed to the facilitator and will only be read during the open lab hours. Requests emailed after open lab hours will be viewed on the next open lab date. If a student needs a bypass to continue working over the weekend, the request must be emailed before 2:00 p.m. on the Thursday before the weekend.
ECS is not responsible for any interruption in accessing course content from a personal device. If students are having trouble logging in or accessing the course content, they are responsible for coming into the computer lab during lab hours for assistance or accessing their course on district devices until the access is restored from a personal device.
