  • Chess Emporium LMES (Spring)

    Chess Club teaches a fun and exciting introduction to the game of chess. Club begins by teaching students how to play the game, chess openings, tactics, and endgames. Students will practice what they learn each week in games with their friends. Studies by major corporations have shown that chess can help students improve their math and verbal skills, creative abilities, and critical thinking abilities. Chess provides helpful insights into mathematics, visualization, analysis, and writing skills.
  • Choir (Grade 3-6) LMES Spring

    We are excited to offer the amazing musical experience of the Elementary Choir at Lone Mountain Elementary School! Choir is open to all 3rd through 6th grade students. No audition is required. Elementary choir builds on skills introduced in your child's general music classroom as well as team work. New skills include the expansion of the musical concepts of rhythm, melody, and harmony. Our team of students will focus on fine tuning their vocal and auditory skills through vocal exercises, part singing, and other harmonic singing experiences. Participation Policy Students MUST attend rehearsal regularly Students MUST attend rehearsal regularly. Students are permitted 3 absences. Please notify Mrs. Clark with an email, remind.com text, or written excuse for absences. Frequent tardiness to Choir rehearsal can result in dismissal from the club (late by 10 minutes- 4 or more times) Students are expected to be on their best behavior. Any violations of the school or classroom rules may result in dismissal. There will be an additional rehearsal on March 18, to make up for the one missed during Spring Break. All performances are mandatory. The One Voice Concert (off site) will be Monday, April 21. Parents are responsible for transportation to the site. Details will be provided at a later time. Students are required to wear their uniform (performance shirt from the 2024 Fall LMES Choir session, and black pants) to all performances unless otherwise noted. If your child is new to the LMES Choir program, needs a replacement, or simply want another choir t-shirt, here is a separate link to order the LMES Choir shirt. Students are expected to participate to the best of their ability and learn their assigned musical parts. Practice materials will be digitally distributed to parents/ students.     Click "Enroll Now" to purchase your 2024/2025 Choir T-shirts if your child does not have one from the Fall semester. You will be asked your child's shirt size prior to paying for the shirt. A Choir t-shirt is mandatory for the One Voice Concert.
  • Multiplication Mania (Grade 2-4) LMES

    Does your child need to learn their multiplication facts? This class is a fun, game-based way to make sure those facts are memorized. We will learn our facts by playing hands-on, interactive small group games. Your child won't even realize they are learning because they will be having so much fun.
  • Ramp Up Reading (Grade 1-2) LMES Session II

    RAMP UP READING classes provide a chance for students to ramp up their reading skills! The class provides instruction in vocabulary, root words and other language fundamentals that lay the foundation for reading and comprehension according to the grade level. The environment will be fun, interactive and center-based. The instructors are teachers from the campus the classes are taught in order to benefit from collaboration with each student's homeroom teacher. The objective of this class is to strengthen each student's reading skills, reading comprehension and vocabulary skills. Instructor: Andrea Gurri

This season, boys and girls will have the opportunity to learn, practice, and compete in a variety of thrilling events, including: 50 M Sprints 100 M Sprints 400 M Sprints 4x100M Relay 100 M Hurdles Discus Shot Put Running Long Jump Javelin Throw ️Practice Schedule: Mondays and Fridays, 8:00 a.m. – 8:40 a.m. March 3, 7, 17, 21, 24, 28, 31, and April 4, 7, 11, 14, 21. T-shirt included.
