Kids on Track CSHS Spring
Youth Track and Field. Young athletes are introduced to and participate in track and field events. Classes consist of weekly drills to improve running form, speed, coordination, agility, strength and endurance. Additionally, each week participants will experience a new track or field event. The course is not solely running-focused. Events include sprints, hurdles, long jump, discus and shot put. When necessary, events are modified to be age appropriate. The focus is to provide an encouraging environment with an emphasis on enjoying the physical challenge, and experiencing positive results.
