ZAPS test preparation seminars are designed to help each student do his or her personal best on the ACT. In the five-hour seminar, students will learn:  Strategies for using partial knowledge to eliminate wrong choices  Tips for improving in all four sub tests (English, Math, Reading and Science)  Tactics for using limited testing time  Take shortened practice tests that mirror the actual testing experience  Reduce test anxiety and gain confidence Receive a comprehensive Study Guide and 24 practice test workouts with detailed answer explanations  Get suggestions for individualized study in the days leading up to the test Motivational instruction and hands-on practice will help you understand your strengths and weaknesses. Students who take the ZAPS seminar—and practice the strategies at home—typically experience score increases of 50 to 150 points on the SAT or 5 to 15 points on the PSAT.     The D.R.I.V.E Certification Packagelike the driving fundamentals packageis for students with little to no driving experience. A student does not need to have their permit to begin this program, however, their permit eligibility should be within a month of starting the program. If a student has a permit and has done “some” driving with parents, they are still novice and eligible for this program. This package includes all of the elements of the Driving Fundamentals package as well as: 2 hours – On-line Orientation to Defensive Driving SkillsThis course is a pre-cursor to the Defensive Driving Simulation Lab and provides the context for what students will be experiencing in the defensive driving lab. The course is based on four key components: Hazard Recognition, Vehicle Handling, Space Management, and Speed Management. This course must be completed before students can begin the simulation lab lessons. Three 2 hour lessons in the Defensive Driving Simulation Lab on site. In this lab students are exposed to all types of hazards such as dangerous intersections, red light runners, head-on collisions, weather conditions, tire blowouts and much more. Students learn how quickly situations happen and how to anticipate and react in those situations. If you choose a multiple student option for the defensive driving lab, students will rotate driving and being in an active observer role. If you choose the Multiple student option, both students must register at the same time and will not begin the program until registration is completed for both. There are different multiple student options: One where the students are only scheduled together for the Driving Fundamentals Simulation Lab lessons, their on-road and defensive driving labs will be 1:1. It is done in two live zoom meetings and an on-line course. It is very helpful for parents to level expectations. DrivingMBA’s philosophy is to partner with parents and this course provides parents and guardians information on teenage driving as well as useful tips to become better coaches while practicing with students. Below are on-road options. If you choose the “Multiple Student Enrollment,” two students must enroll at the same time and will not be placed on the schedule until both are registered. You have the option of 1 student in the vehicle or a 6 hr. option where two students are in the vehicle and they will rotate driving and being an active observer. On-road lessons are 2 hours in length. If you choose the 10 hour option, it is 1:1 with a student and we will administer DrivingMBA’s comprehensive on-road evaluation. If the student passes, the test at the MVD is waived. We make no guarantees that a student will pass the final exam.   • Driving MBA - Virtual Permit Prep Seminar

    DrivingMBA’s Online Permit Prep Course is an interactive overview of information found in the Arizona Driver’s License manual. This course is designed to review information necessary to understanding the rules of the road for the state of Arizona. The goal is to help students gain an understanding of these rules, how they apply to practical driving, and what information or questions would be found on the permit test. The class is broken down into different levels and missions to make it easier to manage studying with a variety of schedules. The whole course takes approximately 3 hours but can be completed at a student’s chosen pace. It can be stopped and started, and missions can be repeated as desired. Each mission includes visual demonstrations or images, along with a verbal explanation to help a wide range of learners understand the importance and meaning of different road rules. All students are able to interact with the course administrator, who is an experienced and fully MVD Certified Trainer with DrivingMBA. If a student has questions or needs clarification on concepts, they are able to reach out to the trainer throughout the program and get feedback or clarification directly. Students take small quizzes throughout the course with questions similar to what they will find with the MVD’s permit test, which can help them prepare for the actual permit test.     Track & Field Pre-Season Training will prepare you for the spring season by improving your conditioning, flexibility, and strength through a progression of running, drills, plyometrics, core and stretching exercises.
