    Athletes In Training offers on-campus sports all year long! Children have the opportunity to play sports on their school campus in a non-intimidating, fun environment. AIT offers a new sport each session. The children play on teams and learn about sportsmanship, teamwork, and cooperation, along with the fundamentals of the game. Athletes will learn basketball skills, practice, and scrimmage each week, right after school and right on campus! All registrations go through ECS.

  • Bonanza Educational - Gadgets & Gizmos BMES (Spring)

    Teach your LEGO bricks cool new tricks in the LEGO Gizmos and Gadgets after-school club! Use the LEGO we provide along with some extra supplies like marbles, balloons, rubber bands, and more to make exciting projects that are guaranteed to do something cool. Projects will “sail”, “take off”, “fly”, “catapult”, and “race”! In every class we will build a functioning model while we learn the STEM skills behind how they work and practice problem solving skills, teamwork skills, and become better communicators. Leave your LEGO at home, we’ll supply everything you need. No take-home projects. Parent’s guide for at-home activities will be available. For grades K+.

  • Chess Emporium BMES (Spring)

    Chess Club teaches a fun and exciting introduction to the game of chess. Club begins by teaching students how to play the game, chess openings, tactics, and endgames. Students will practice what they learn each week in games with their friends. Studies by major corporations have shown that chess can help students improve their math and verbal skills, creative abilities, and critical thinking abilities. Chess provides helpful insights into mathematics, visualization, analysis, and writing skills.
  • DFAC Lacrosse FUNdamental BMES Spring

    Lacrosse FUNdamental introduces students to the game of Lacrosse and the skills needed to succeed at the game. In each class, students will do skill drills to learn the proper way to pass and catch, cradle and pick up ground balls. Game play is also integrated into each class so students can learn the rules of the game and develop the discipline of teamwork.     WOW! Imagine your child speaking and LOVING Spanish - Live, interactive online classes (EVERY DAY), January 17 - April 15! Through interactive games, songs, Spanish cooking classes, science experiments, crafts, stories, and more, students will learn conversational Spanish (and about the awesome culture)! SO fun and highly effective! Awesome weekly themes that kids will LOVE (some past themes to give you an idea were: Harry Potter Week, It's A Dog's Life, Under the Sea). You choose the days and times that work best for you each week to attend classes live. You'll also get access to ALL RECORDINGS!   • ThriveStride Run Club (BMES)

    We call it Run Club, but rather, we are an Empowerment program teaching boys AND girls the foundations of a growth mindset, intrinsic motivation, and genuine self-confidence through running drills and games. We focus on empowerment principles of Power Words, Positive Thoughts, Goal Setting, Resilience, Teamwork, Community Vision, and Integrity. We apply these principles through running skills and strength training. Participants receive a t-shirt, but each child earns their Run Club medals! This is a program for all kids, not just athletes.     Yoga for Kids Grades 4-6 This class is designed to help students discover the many benefits of practicing yoga and mindfulness. Each class will include learning fundamental yoga poses and some exposure to mindfulness practices such as; breathing techniques and meditation. The sequences will be fun, challenging, and accessible. No previous yoga experience is required. Through the practice of yoga, students will develop greater strength, flexibility, and comfort in their bodies. Participants will begin to discover increased confidence and self-acceptance. In addition, mindfulness has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety and help to create an overall sense of calm and well-being.
