  • LEGO® MOVIES & MINECRAFT® (Grade 3-6) LMES - 6/17-28

    Lights, Camera, Action and all things MINECRAFT®. Join us for two weeks of fun and excitement! Week #1 Learn the art of making LEGO® Stop Motion Movies.This camp will focus on teaching the basics of Stop Motion Movie creation with MINECRAFT® and other LEGO® minifigures. Each child will learn to write a script, build a set, direct and edit their own Stop Motion Movie. Individual as well as group projects will be encouraged. Week#2 Welcome to the world of Mining and Crafting. Throughout the week your child will be given exciting building challenges in BOTH the creative and survival mode….BEWARE OF CREEPERS!! Camp Brick has hired some mining experts to help your child learn secrets and short cuts that can be taken home for use on their own MINECRAFT® games. A secure server will be provided for their use during this camp. An IPad, Kindle, Laptop or other portable device with a camera will be required daily from each camper. Campers will be able to drop their device off upon arrival in the morning to be stored in a secure location until their afternoon camp begins. A protective sleeve or device cover is recommended. Please send a charger daily.

  • Olympics: Games & Culture (Grade 4-7) LMES - 6/17-28

    Rev up the Olympic fun by learning French vocabulary to get ready for the Paris games, learning about countries participating in the Summer Olympics, creating your own country, and dividing into teams to compete in amusing challenges. Activities include creating your country—designing your own flag, uniforms, motto etc. Then, the competitions begin!
