A variety of lessons and activities using before, during, and after reading strategies to help students understand how to make meaning of what they have read. There will be a focus on high-level thinking skills like making predictions, inferences, and using evidence from the text to support answers. These skills will better prepare a student as they advance in grade levels and prepare for middle school and beyond. Instructor: Lyndsey Bucklin
