Explore multicultural art in our Worldly Artistic Designs Workshop! Students will embark on a creative world tour, beginning in Mexico, where they’ll draw vibrant, welcoming doorways full of color and character. Next, we’ll journey to Africa to explore the rich patterns and design intricacies found in traditional African crafts. Along the way, students will discover art inspired by additional countries and cultures, creating unique projects using a variety of media including acrylic paints and soft pastels for a wide range of creative expression. A new style is explored each day, while freedom of application within each style is encouraged, allowing every student to express their creativity in their own way.

All materials are included with registration. Each student will receive a personalized art supply bag containing everything needed for the workshop, including an apron, soft pastels, acrylic paint, markers, pencils, Sharpies, and all essential art supplies for every project, every day of camp. No themes are repeated in the two sessions offered in June so students may enroll in both sessions without repeating content. Instructor: Letty Giddings
