2026 Summer Edgenuity Online Course Credit - JUNE (Grade 9-12)

Enrichment Summer / JUNE (Grades 9-12) Credit Recovery, Grade Improvement, or New Course -
Summer 2026

Steps to Enroll in Edgenuity through Education and Community Services (ECS)

1. Counselor Approval
The school counselor meets with the student to determine which courses are approved to be taken online through Edgenuity. Approved courses are documented on the ECS Edgenuity Course Approval Form.

2. Submission of the Approval Form to the ECS Office
The counselor provides a copy of the completed and signed form to the student and emails a copy to the following people at the ECS Office:evallario@ccusd93.org and lbroussard@ccusd93.org

3. Online Registration and Payment
The parent/guardian completes the Edgenuity registration online, choosing which course the student is to complete based on the information provided by the counselor. The enrollment information is verified against the ECS Edgenuity Course Approval Form submitted by the counselor. During registration, the parent/guardian will:

• Select an approved course (only one course can be active at a time).

• Indicate whether the course is for Credit Retrieval, Grade Improvement, or a New Course.

• Complete payment for the Edgenuity course.

4. Course Activation
Once the ECS Office has received:

• The completed ECS Edgenuity Course Approval Form.

• Confirmation of online payment, $195 per semester course, .5 credit.

The selected course will be entered into the Edgenuity system and made available for the student to begin within the first week of the selected session. Please allow two business days after completion of Step 4 for the course to become available online. The goal is for Step 4 to be completed at least two days before the start of the session so the student can begin on the first day.

5. Course Completion
Students are responsible for completing all coursework, quizzes, unit tests, and the final exam by the deadline for the selected session.

• Coursework and quizzes may be completed off-site.

• The prescriptive test, unit tests, and final exam must be taken in person under the supervision of the assigned ECS Edgenuity facilitator during lab hours.

• If a student is unable to test in person during the scheduled times, they should consult their school counselor for alternatives.

• Students must contact the facilitator directly by email to troubleshoot issues, schedule tests, or request bypasses (one bypass is allowed at a time).

• Failure to complete all required components listed above by the deadline will result in an F on the student’s transcript.

• Upon completion of the course, a report is sent to the ECS Office and the Cactus Shadows Registrar so the grade can be recorded on the student’s transcript.
