Auditions will be held on August 20 and 21. Students in grades 3–5 who are interested in auditioning can visit the callboard outside Mrs. Volk's room to pick up all audition materials.

The cast list will be emailed by the end of the day on August 21.

Enrollment in The Wizard of Oz Cast requires a confirmed role from the audition with Mrs. Volk, and the audition forms signed and returned to Mrs. Volk: The Rehearsal Expectation, Black Mountain Elementary Drama Production Policy, and Conflict and Production Policy Agreement.

Thank you for joining the cast of The Wizard of Oz, as we follow a farm girl from Kansas and her little dog, Toto, as they make new friends and encounter exciting adventures on their journey to the Emerald City in this beloved classic fantasy story brought to the stage.

Special Tech rehearsal dates at the Fine Arts Center are from 3:30-6:00 PM on November 16, 17, and 18. Shows on November 19 and November 20 at 6:00 PM.

Special times for cast members on each of the show dates:

November 19th: Show at 6 p.m. cast stays after school at 3:30 p.m. and is released after show

November 20th: Show at 6 pm, cast leaves at 2:00 p.m. and returns by 3:30 p.m. to the FAC. Cast is released after the set is brought back to BMES.
