Oh no! It’s a crazy day when a bunch of fairytale creatures end up in each others stories!
Auditions for our first play are on Thursday August 21st from 3:30-5 pm in the drama room. After auditions, we dismiss from the back of the school near the cafeteria at the north parking lot. To prepare for auditions, students are being asked to prepare a monologue (a solo speech done by a character onstage) of one minute or less. Students are encouraged to audition with their monologue memorized to show their commitment! In addition to preparing their monologue, please thoroughly read through the attached audition packet. In the packet you will find our Black Mountain Elementary Production Policy. It is vital that all families read through this so that they understand the expectations and are set up for success. Please return the last page of the packet with all conflicts recorded in the provided spaces. If your student would like to do another club that conflicts with rehearsal, please just write the name of the club and which days that club misses in the provided spaces. You will be notified on Parent Square with the cast list on August 22nd at 3:30 pm. If your child is cast, please know you will need to pay a production fee on Eleyo after auditions. 11/13 and 11/14: Meet at the FAC at 4:30 pm for a 6 pm show (YOU MUST TAKE YOUR STUDENT HOME AND BRING THEM BACK FOR THE SHOW)
