Sonoran Learning Collective offers a structured, two-day-per-week hybrid program for 3rd–6th grade students, created for families who want to be active partners in their child’s education. On campus, students learn in a traditional classroom setting with focused instruction in core subjects -math, language arts, literature, science, and history. The rest of the week, parents or guardians guide daily lessons at home, ensuring concepts are taught, explained, and checked for understanding.

This is not a part-time school or a substitute for full-time education; it is full-time learning shared between school and home. Families should plan to spend at least 2–3 hours on daily at-home work, especially in math, reading, and writing. Our small-group classes are best for students who are respectful, task-oriented, and able to work independently.

Enrollment begins with a student assessment and family meeting to confirm that the program is a good fit and to determine the most appropriate class placement. Placement is based on academic level, not age. By enrolling, families agree to follow our established curriculum and purchase the required books themselves; a detailed book list will be provided once enrollment is confirmed.

Our goal is to help every student master grade-level concepts so they’re ready for the next step, whether that’s continuing in a hybrid program, homeschooling, or moving to a full-time school.

Upon enrolling, you will be contacted by Sonoran Learning Collective for an inquiry assessment prior to receiving an invoice. Upon receiving an invoice for the full amount of the program, please submit it through the ClassWallet Pay Vendor option to “Cave Creek Unified School District no.93.” Once ECS/CCUSD has received the ESA funds from ClassWallet, your enrollment is complete.
