Cookie Camp (Grade 1-6) 10:40 AM-12:10 PM Session 2
This class focuses on students learning the fundamentals of baking cookies! The class works on math skills including measurement, adding, subtracting and multiplying numbers appropriate to grade level. Students will participate in ingredient listing, following directions, fractional math, organization and planning, cooking appropriate to grade level. No duplicate recipes from the June or July session, so please join us for multiple sessions! Students work both independently and as a team to create a delicious cookie to enjoy and take home! Fruit Snack Attack (Grade K-3) 10:40 AM-12:10 PM Session 2
Kids learn to make simple, nutritious snacks using fruit to encourage healthy eating habits while practicing basic cooking skills. Food preparation can help kids learn fundamental math skills and teamwork and provide a sense of accomplishment as they create fun snacks from basic ingredients. Musical Theatre Dance Basics (Grade 2-6) 10:40 AM-12:10 AM Session 2
Join us for a fun and energetic 90-minute daily class designed just for 2nd–6th graders! Students will learn the fundamentals of dance for musical theatre, including jazz, character, and storytelling through movement. We will also cover key theatre skills like stage presence, coordination, and expressive performance to help young performers shine in any production. Perfect for kids who love theatre, and want to learn the steps to help them shine on stage! -
Ramp Up Reading (Grade 1-2) 10:40 AM-12:10 PM Session 2
RAMP UP READING classes provide a chance for students to ramp up their reading skills! The class provides instruction in vocabulary, root words and other language fundamentals that lay the foundation for reading and comprehension according to the grade level. The environment will be fun, interactive and center-based. The instructors are teachers from the campus the classes are taught in order to benefit from collaboration with each student's homeroom teacher. The objective of this class is to strengthen each student's reading skills, reading comprehension and vocabulary skills. Play some of your favorite PE games like soccer, kickball, floor hockey, capture the flag, and basketball. We also play a variety of different tag games. -
Travel the World in 10 Days (Grade K-2) 10:40 AM-12:10 PM Session 2
Climb aboard the ride from continent to continent, learning about various cultures and exploring famous landmarks like the Great Wall of China, the Sydney Opera House, the North Pole, etc. Students will listen to stories and have fun with hands-on crafts and nut-free culinary delights unique to each country they visit.
